Obi and Kimchi are two very special dogs, whose real- life adventures, unique personalities and special moments inspire our stories. Their real life adventures, very different personalities and special everyday moments inspire the stories we create. We're glad you're here to be a part of our story.

Meet Obi
Obi is our friendly adventurer. Curious, loving, and always ready to see what's around the corner. Obi's real-life adventures inspired the beginning of the Wag Store stories.
Obi joined our family as a little puppy and quickly became a much -loved companion. He loves people, walks, exploring new places and being part of family adventures.
As Obi grew, so did his adventures. From finding his forever home at Lyttelton Harbour, to exploring Christchurch, beaches, parks, day trips and travels further afield, Obi is where our story began. Those special everyday moments became the inspiration for our books.

Meet Kimchi
Kimchi may be smaller than Obi, but she certainly has a big personality! Feisty, loving and fiercely protective of her family, Kimchi brought a whole new kind of energy to the Wag Store adventures.
Kimchi likes to take her time getting to know people and prefers the company she knows and trusts. With her family, she is incredibly loving, loyal and always wants to be part of what is happening.
Kimchi loves food! If someone is cooking, opening a cupboard, or carrying something that might be food, Kimchi is always close-by. Her food driven ways have created many funny family moments - and lots of inspiration for new stories.

Meet Story Book Kimchi
This is Kimchi as you will meet her in our books!
Inspired by the real Kimchi, her storybook character captures her feisty personality, loving nature and hilarious obsession with food. she may approach the world differently than Obi, but that is exactly what makes their adventures together so much fun.
Sometimes brave, mostly cautious and always keeping an eye out for her next snack, Storybook Kimchi brings a completely different personality the Wag Store stories.
